Synopsis
SCO7809 is a TetR family transcriptional factor. SCO7809 protein from Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2) genome was overexpressed in Rhodococcus erythropolis, purified and crystallized using sitting drop vapor diffusion method. Crystals of selenomethionine-substituted SCO7809 diffract to 2.8 Å resolutions. The crystal belongs to space group C2221 with unit-cell parameters of a = 95.6, b = 115.1, c = 247.7 Å. This is the first crystallographic study of recombinant SCO7809 protein.

Key words: SCO7809 protein, Streptomyces coelicolor A3(2), crystallographic, recombinant protein
